Modelled flood boundary
How "exposed" is defined here: a building is flagged exposed if its centroid is within ~150m of the modelled flood boundary for the selected sea-level scenario — a simplified proxy, not a true flood-fill model. Distances are approximated in degrees→metres locally rather than reprojected to NZTM (EPSG:2193), unlike the proper workflow from Lecture 4. This is exactly the kind of simplification you should be checking for, not trusting blindly (Lecture 2).
